It is situated in the picturesque village of Montacute This fascinating museum put together by Alan Hicken is lined from floor to ceiling with wonderful memories of radio and TV programmes. He has painstakingly collected thousands of items of memorabilia and over 500 old radios, radiograms and television sets.

For centuries travellers and pilgrims have visited this sacred site, situated in the heart of the beautiful county of Somerset.

 

Legend states that the grave of King Arthur is within the grounds, and that Joseph of Arimethea once visited here, his staff becoming the Holy Thorn that grows here, and which flowers twice a year.

Visitors are welcome to amble leisurely around our large collection of cider making and farming equipment of yesteryear.

 

Our twin cider presses housed in the 16th Century thatched cider barn are on view all year round. Visitors are also welcome to sample all of our ciders FREE in our cider and farm shop.
